(This commentary contains possible spoilers, read at your own risk) This is one of those films that had heard a lot of rumors about the good, whether it is in theaters and on video when he left. I have collected several times until the rental shop, and then later put back to get something else. But finally, the time has come for me to see "The Red Violin." And it's very good. Most intriguing of the idea that aspects of the actual execution of the film. I like the idea of following this violin through the ages and see how that affects their hands on their way to the auction, but I do not care for any of the people who got the damn thing. The Austrian music teacher? He is an idiot. English virtuoso long hair? Pulling on a large scale. Gypsies? All very good violin player, but not on screen long enough to care. The Chinese girl? She was the most sympathetic of characters, but at this point in the Red Violin, The Mystery I was really hoping to finish soon.
