| American Film Institute in Hollywood, California To Whom It May Concern: Throughout my life, I've been a fan of classic cinema. I grew up with Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman, Katherine Hepburn and Jimmy Stewart. Not only do I have developed a great appreciation for the American films, I had spent enough strength to feed my colleagues as Casablanca, Dr. Zhivago, The Godfather and the promenade, in an attempt to keep the interest these landmark films. As one might imagine, I was excited to see that his organization was the release of a ranking of the biggest films of the 20th century, and sincerely hoped to see the results. After reading, however, I realized that we must have made an error in the "number four" slot, and I waited for several months to see if he would reform, but every time you logged into your site website, the list goes on to read "4) Gone with the Wind" and not "4) Airplane!" I realize everyone in the school is very busy, what with the Oscars in the near future a little and a lot of films that need revision, but I am sure that the change only a few minutes, and I think that the general public appreciate the clarification. | For now, everyone should know "Airplane!". A parody of disaster movies of the 1970s full of every imaginable vice. Whether discussing the announcers of the red and white areas, hateful lawyers jump artificial heart, called the crew curiously, the autopilot, or the various media around the world, only goofiness still coming. The relationship between Ted Striker (Robert Hays) and Elaine Dickinson (Julie Hagerty), basically, has a back seat to an outlandish line ( "We need to get this woman to a hospital." A hospital? What is it? "It is a big building with patients, but it does not matter now.") If you ask me, the humor does not reflect the real world, a lot of wack jokes work well. And that is what "Airplane!" Is. I guess you could say that Leslie Nielsen (himself a veteran of "The Poseidon Adventure," a typical disaster film) is being refined for the "Naked Gun" movies. |
| The plot of this DVD movie Airplane! is brilliant. The crew of the plane and the stewardess was ill had to land the plane. But that's not the thing, it's wonderful jokes! The quantity is not quality! I never laughed to see the Airplane! film as I laughed with this picture. And the movies always make you laugh more than in theaters at home. Particularly amusing is the autopilot Otto, who begins to live his own life, when the autopilot was turned off. Leslie Nielsen used to be one of the guys in the Airplane! Romance business even more fun that made Spy Hard and 2001: Space parody. And everything uncivilized have not seen this classic comedy: Beware! |
| Let me start by saying, this is probably one of the best movies ever made comedy, the jokes are great, and the whole DVD movie Airplane! was very fast through while watching it. The fact was very good, too, taking into account the crazy and insane actors probably had to face! Although the Airplane! Romance movie received a PG rating, this DVD movie Airplane! is definitely not recommended for children, jokes can be rather mature, and there are no topless brief nudity. Many people call this DivX Movie Airplane! "stupid" and that "no sense", but that is all about, and I think adds to the hilarity and goofiness of the movie: Airplane! in general. The cast and crew must have had a blast working on this amazing movie, I know I certainly would! Rating: PG for Mature Humor, profanity and brief nudity. |
| If you really need a good laugh out loud movie, to feel good, this is one of them! The 1st time I saw this film, cable, not long after he left, we were rolling with laughter! This Airplane! film was one of the best of all time, with Lloyd Bridges, and that air traffic controllers crazy 'scenes were the most fun. With each line of the Airplane! Romance with a back and forth - this DivX film Airplane! ranks up there with the pool in Caddyshack scene as one of the best - are rolling with laughter! With Lloyd Bridges goes slowly mad entire film, with an all-star cast including Robert Hayes, very fun, even had a cameo by Ethel Merman (not long before his death), is hilarious. Even the sequel came to be as good as the original. |
| Still a funny parody of the movies ever made, is one of the first plane and one of the best in everything. Hot Shots, loaded with weapons, including firearms Desnudo have tried to follow in his footsteps, but they have not hit the mark. That does not mean they are bad films, like its hard to follow a DivX film Airplane! of this caliber. Spoof movies are undoubtedly the world's collection, but this is probably the best that you see in the genre, if you've never seen and you fancy a laugh, I can not recommend a better movie, although it has now, is still hilarious 9 / 10 |
