| I read the book Celestine Prophecy and hoped to see the film. Be advised that the movie: Celestine Prophecy, The is inspired by the book. Many of the books most interesting points come out even in the film. This is a "B" in the best of the film. Many events, characters, how the character to interact and meet in the book are changed or simply do not occur. The flow of events in the book are very soft, and are fed chopped it as a child. Character development is very poor. Personnallities of the characters other than those listed in the book. The location is similar to a "B" horror movie. I understand that it would take six hours in the cinema to present what is in the book, but the screen play based lost many points. The casting was very good. |
| This DivX film Celestine Prophecy, The fails to capture the mystery and intrigue that the book offers. The main point of the book, ideas are not even touched, leaving the viewer wondering why everyone is making a big deal about them and why they are willing to risk their lives. Character development is not good at all. No substantive or personal development and leaves the audience does not care at all about what happens to them, and so the action sequences fall flat. The search for manuscripts ended abruptly, with no explanation, leaving no sense of satisfaction in what they are searching for any. This is one of the worst adaptation of a book I have ever seen. It is a terrible waste of time. If you have not read the book, skip the Celestine Prophecy, The Adventure film and read it. If you've read the book, read it and skip the film. It's almost as if the point of making the Celestine Prophecy, The film was to discredit the book, which is wrong and how this Celestine Prophecy, The movie is ridiculous. It is a pity, because it would have been nice to have taken that at the height of its success and that would probably have been able to get a good writer and a few good players. Please do not waste time, READ THE BOOK! |
| Hopefully, the Celestine Prophecy, The Adventure movie could have been as detailed as the book. Since you can not, I do not think as good as it could represent the concept and ideas. For a DVD movie Celestine Prophecy, The that can easily get preachy or cheesy I was impressed with just one point from two of cheese and no preachiness. The DivX Movie Celestine Prophecy, The is more than entertainment. It is a vehicle for ideas that hold true for many. Acing the time was much better than expected and the only time that management is expected to be out of the editing issue. The cinematography is excellent and showed the beauty of the location shooting! I just wish it was much longer and had more in-depth views on the ideas. I will now read my book! Peace! |
| My dear Lord, what a movie! Let's talk about the "special effects" in the first place. I am not wrong here, I am not a fan of these effects, but I was thinking that it was an overlap of practice has long past, mainly from the 60s. So for some time thought that this DivX film Celestine Prophecy, The could have been recorded long ago and it took them forever to the court and release. But I know they did not have cell phones in the 60s ... What I'm looking mainly in the movies is a good story with a good message. Acting is secondary, the side effects are not yet a few inconsistencies. But in films such as poor performance, incredibility, etc. are added to make a bad DivX film Celestine Prophecy, The even worse - that is what happened to me with the Celestine Prophecy. My wife said the book was really very good and although I am not at all spiritual things that I can see some way that can be accomplished through a credible way - the Celestine Prophecy, The Adventure movie did not. There could be one reason to see this well. If you really love cheesy movies that will be right for you. If the IMDb star quality instead of this DVD movie Celestine Prophecy, The cheesiness I have evaluated ten stars. By the way, are three stars by the fact that there are worse movies out there as "critical mass" (search the comments that one - hilarious). The Celestine Prophecy, at least, is entertaining to some extent. |
