| This DivX Movie American Zombie seems to have multiple personalities. It starts out very, very dry, a little too much. Then it is heated and fun in the middle, but suddenly turns serious, in the end, making it look like a completely different movie. A mockumentary must rely heavily climax that leaves me smiling, not depressed. However, we recommend that you see. The good parts are enough to make the movie: American Zombie worthwhile. The private investigator is fun, and John Solomon antics perfectly balanced personality Gracia. I am excited to see what these filmmakers do. Although it would be better to end this DVD film American Zombie has gone from six to eight or nine stars, no doubt a bit of talent at work here, and a few more movies under his belt can make a difference. |
| The craft is topnotch, solid performances, good writing. There are some keen observations here and there about life after death and life before death. As in dead last again, non-ZOMBIE in America are not only regard the flesh-eating zombies (there's nothing wrong with regard flesh-eating zombies) (check out my comics in black and white, Cape Fear COMICS, available at comiXpress, which is dedicated to George A. Romero himself, and see which I speak). The socio-political ramifications of the dead rising from their graves is studied (sometimes hilariously, sometimes more sublime), but the good films that make this one worth a good, long look. |
