| People really should lighten up about movies. Before it was pure entertainment, and could be as good or bad, because I wanted to be, but they were for pleasure and not to be scrutinized to death. Gothika was fun, it was fun, fear, dark and ghostly. He was good and if we look at the holes in the predictability and negligible then perhaps we can see a good movie. The characters are great, Miranda and Chloe heading a fund that has issued more than a decent movie. The address should be given due credit, and this is a movie: Gothika much better than the mess of "parody" and "romantic comedies" that are falling in the cinema now as a persistent wave and drowning. Personally, I fell in love with the DivX film Gothika after seeing a horror never before in my life. In my mind it gets to be one of Halle Berry for best DVD movie Gothika to date, and my favorite film: Gothika of the year to date. On the other hand I can not sit and enjoy a Gothika Horror movie of myself instead of waiting hungry exit holes and Accident and entertain me. 8 / 10 |
| I did not expect a guy like Kassovitz with talent to make another pretentious piece of Hollywood trash. That's what 'Gothika' is. Which aims to be one of those psychological horror / thriller that makes you think (if the right!). That has all the twists and dumb Wannabe 'jump' moments. The division is lost. Halle Berry hams in several sequences, but otherwise it's okay. She cries a lot. Penelope Cruz does well with its lack of substance and the role of Robert Downey Jr. is wasted. The end (leading to more garbage) suggests another horrible sequel. The special effects are good and the score only adds substance to the claim. But the only thing that I liked the film. The long shots were very impressive fast. Considering the concept, Kassovitz DVD movie Gothika could have done a very participation.
