| I just had the opportunity to see this film: Waitress today, and I love to say that birdies from the trees for me. The Waitress movie is / was written and directed by Adrianne Shelly (who also has a small but powerful role as a sister, a waitress in a small shop at the foot of an unnamed town in the South), which unfortunately was her singing swan, because of its horrific murder last year. The story concerns a waitress at a pastry shop (played by Kerri Russell), trapped in a dead marriage to an abusive control freak. Their only means of cracks until they are doing all together delicious looking cake. Matters more complicated when we discover she is pregnant, and (potentially) the fall of their new OB-GYN. Andy Griffith (yes, the Andy Griffith) is a somewhat understated role well as the cranky owner of the pie shop. This is a quiet little Waitress Comedy that probably will not go to the main cinemas in several complex to grasp, while grabbing good. |
| Beautifully filmed story of Romance / Comedy in the south of the city. Russell is brilliant, sweet soundtrack is soulfully support this story .. a loved one and I can not wait to see you again in my neighborhood. Andy Griffin could not have been more on target. Cheryl other characters, Nathan, Jeremy, what can I say? brilliant casting. He was delighted to hear the Waitress movie was picked up for distribution. The viewer can not help but walk WAITRESS with good vibrations. Adrienne Shelley was very good and his talent as a writer, producer will be greatly missed. I was so sad to hear of his tragic assassination. Amazing. Truth is stranger than fiction. |
| I was not looking forward to this Waitress movie ... I left because it was a free and more importantly to support Nathan Fillion. It is much better than expected. Nathan was great, of course - all nervous of their business was very funny. It was fun to see him play a sensitive guy. And I loved Cheryl Hines. I liked the story, but they tend to be a bit cloying. There's plenty of humor to balance out acid. I was hysterical crying at the end of the film, thinking that a horrible tragedy is that Adrienne Shelly is not doing more movies. She definitely had a lot of talent - I can make your "I'll Make a Cake" song from my head. |
| It comes through the magic of the waitress, which is the response to the 2007 Waitress Comedy Little Miss Sunshine, and you just do not want to end this film, or that the trip stop Keri Russell on the screen. What a wonderful and joyous jewel of a Waitress film Adrienne Shelly had an audience with the waitress and the incredible mix cake ingredients, the DivX film Waitress of the delicious cakes lighting display along with the beauty of the smile of Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion strong cast, Jeremy Sisto, Cheryl Hines and Andy Griffith, and only WAITRESS is the perfect place for summer and a delight for all. WAITRESS is my vote to become a great success with strong writing, cast and humor that makes you smile, laugh, mourn all in one sitting. This DVD movie Waitress is for all those who have been overwhelmed by issues unhappy, yearning heart to see that "person" and "time" in your life that you have been wanting. With Kerri Russell and her journey to find the right moment, you have a hero we can all identify with and applaud for having the courage to find the right niche in his life. WAITRESS is a film: Waitress you can see many times again, not only for the feet, but remember what it is when your life becomes that have always wanted. |
