| It was a decent movie, and was (as always) a great work by Kurt Russell. Russell plays an LA detective who sometimes blurs the lines between good and evil. The two problems I had with the film: Dark Blue are that (1) was the exact argument of the plot and "The Shield" TV series (and not done nearly as well), and (2) It was actually a little too preachy on matters of racism for my taste. I think the Dark Blue Action too some of the stereotypes that people have and should have stuck to entertain, not preach. In general, this is a very watchable Dark Blue Action film with some very good sequences. Five out of ten stars. |
| I saw Dark Blue for a reason, Kurt Russell was in it. I would have been much more annoyed when I saw this Dark Blue film because I wanted to see Ving Rhames, because Rhames is in it for about a total of 12 minutes. This DivX Movie Dark Blue is weak in the script and acting. The official played in this Dark Blue Action film is one of the worst actresses I have ever seen. I realized from the beginning that this movie: Dark Blue was to another occupation. Russell is good, always, but he just does not get any help. Too many scenes are acting stupid and will increase their eyebrows. Towards the end of the DivX film Dark Blue breathes new life into the history of the LA crowd scenes. The riot scenes are incredible, really is a feeling that is was like to be trapped in that. My question is, why not explore this segment? It seems that they are spending a large amount of money for that part of the film, take advantage of it. 6.5 out of 10 is a good rating, because it has some positive things in it, but not enough. |
| Shelton of "Dark Blue" is not a prohibited LA early nineties in the grip of the Rodney King beating and the thick line of corrosion of the corruption that is slowly leaking out of their way LAPD. Kurt Russell is at his best as a horrible man. Russell plays Eldon Perry, a detective (with a fairly open window with regard to the rights of persons referred to), which also has problems with race and education. The DivX film Dark Blue character evidence Russell capacity to see through the destruction and chaos is part of and are clean and able to be on the outside looking in one place on the inside doing the dirty work. Not a bad film, but perhaps more so for me this hyped a little too .... 7 out of 10 stars will. |
