An asbestos abatement crew wins the bid for an abandoned insane asylum. What should be a straightforward, if rather rushed, job, is complicated by the personal histories of the crew. In particular, Hank is dating Phil's old girlfriend, and Gordon's new baby seems to be unnerving him more than should be expected. Things get more complicated as would-be lawyer Mike plays the tapes from a former patient with multiple personalities, including the mysterious Simon who does not appear until Session 9, and as Hank disappears after finding some old coins.

One fear, claustrophobic horror film: Session 9 with superb acting, without false alarms, and an incredible scenario (The huge asylum is almost intimidating to watch). Session 9 manufacturers did an amazing job of taking advantage of a better, obviously, a limited budget. But lets be honest ... there is no way in hell that asbestos cleanup crews could clean up the site in a week ... maybe a few months!

The guys in this film, obviously, have seen the haunted house movies, and probably will not work in an abandoned mental hospital if you really do not need the money. Most of the cast was unknown to me, except, of course, David Caruso and the lowest rate that I think was not the thief EMPIRE RECORDS. But, of course, the star of the show is Danvers Mental Hospital, who was born to be presented in a horror movie. Major rental value, is worth being part of your DVD collection of horror. 8 out of 10.

Starring: David Caruso, Peter Mullan, Paul Guilfoyle, Stephen Gevedon, Brendan Sexton III, Josh Lucas. Tends to drag, but not everything that took a lot. 5 all workers working in an abandoned mental hospital in Danvers, and dissapearences notice strange things happening. Caruso Mullen and carry most of the film. Provides for a great climax, but not surrender, surrender something completely different. I *** of ****.
