| Absolute rubbish. No originality. A pure exercise in cynicism by Hollywood to make as much money as possible in handling serious and boring and visual effects, there is no script and third rate songs that are 80-100 years before their time. I give this a 1 / 4 of 10 at best. Baz should be the most overrated director in movie: Moulin Rouge! history. |
| This was a very stupid movie, which more than visuals to deal with stupidity. The original songs were terrible, and that the loan did not fit in. What is it that nobody sees it? It is very crude, I am glad that only a waste of video rental. |
| I'm having difficulty reaching ten lines of text for this pump. I prefer to have summed it up in one (see last two sentences of this commentary). The only memorable this farce is likely to become a cliché of bad taste. Recipes for the Moulin Rouge: Come with an empty story idea. Make it a "musical" with a lot of loans SAPPY irrelevant, historically inappropriate pop songs and wedging in the "plot". Recruit a few currently popular movie: Moulin Rouge! actors - the ability to sing is not important. Add garish gobs of production, film: Moulin Rouge! effects and computer graphics. Add a lot of sugar and pour (which may require a spoon to get the sticky mess from the can). Absolute tripe! Anyone who enjoyed this DVD film Moulin Rouge! is a bonehead. |
| Before talking about my opinion of this movie, I just want to say that I understand why this Moulin Rouge! movie was popular - which is quite rare. And if you're one of those people who likes this type of Moulin Rouge! Romance (and you know who you are), then this Moulin Rouge! Romance film is still recommended to you. Now, I felt there was something out of this movie. Could be due to some or all of these things: 1) The end of the Moulin Rouge! Romance is revealed in the first five minutes. Therefore, there should be spoiler to say that she dies. 2) The frantic editing, direction, and just the atmosphere of this Moulin Rouge! Romance film are so ostentatious that continues to remind us that we are only watching a movie. We can not escape because the Moulin Rouge! Romance film looks and feels nothing like real life. With a more realistic film, it is easier for us to surrender the film: Moulin Rouge! and let the characters and plot where we can. 3) The story on which the film: Moulin Rouge! is original and is not clichéic. The real plot is not much, but the style and music. Yes, music is fantastic, and yes, this is a nice-looking movie, but the DivX Movie Moulin Rouge! should be about its plot and not its style. I do not know. I could not get this movie. It was too arrogant and eccentric to me. Oh well. |
