| This is a must-see simply because of an interest in poker. Brought new perspectives to the game, but the plot of the DVD movie Rounders was not entirely fascinating. Matt Damon was a great performance as a former high-rolling young player who lost his fortune and had a night to work their way from the bottom so you can do through law school. The problem comes when one goes goodnik friend from jail and must pay an enormous debt. Damon is off to his life free poker, and is used by his friend for all that is worthwhile. The Rounders Drama film has a bit of a fairy tale ending, and much of the DivX Movie Rounders has twists and turns that can not be predicted more easily if the viewer has a map. However, he spoke about the concept of regret, and is similar to a loss in poker. Never remember we played many hands to build our fortunes. Just remember that a tough loss. However it is important to put aside the past and focus on the present. To change what can be changed in the here and now. Furthermore, he warns of the dangers of being too unselfish. Putting faith and loyalty and trust in another, and not look for yourself. Screw it. Was not that beautiful of a DivX Movie Rounders or well constructed. But it was interesting for me to see the underworld of poker, and two types trying to collect a lot of money playing poker. He also made a good effort in the implementation of some messages in there. If you are interested in poker, watch this Rounders film that was before the madness Hold'em. If not, do not feel bad that jump. And remember, if you do not think, not worth your time. -Michael |
| Dahl film: Rounders about an ex-player returning to play Texas Hold Em when his friend (Norton) emerges from prison. Damon plays the head. This is another great script by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, who later wrote the brilliant screenplay for Runaway Jury. Rounders is one of a character study, and both Norton and Damon to play their roles great. Norton steals the show as the dynamics Thow "worm." Nortons performance worthy of Oscar. John Malkovich, Martin Landau, John Turturro and great in supporting roles as well. This is a great movie: Rounders for any fan of Rounders film or Texas Hold Em. Dahl is not the greatest director of this film, but it is absolutely perfect! 10/10 |
| I have no idea if this DivX Movie Rounders is realistic at all (no doubt many people in this stratum of the world of poker can be so good), but at least has the ring of plausibility. Not only show the performance of something exotic (for me anyway) part of the world, but it manages to do it with style, while treating us to an interesting character study and an intelligent plot. The story is about a young "round", which is trying to go for going to law school (although our first glimpse of him shows him losing all his money in a big poker game with a Russian gangster). Quits the game for a while until an old friend (played by Norton) returns to his life and lands him in deep trouble. What I especially like about the DVD film Rounders is that it launches as if this plot is the main theme, when in fact the Rounders Drama film is about this person to learn important things about himself. And there are a lot of information about poker ... Damon is especially notable between a uniformly good cast. |
