It was a nice movie. However, there were some parts that were "too handsome" to enjoy. Some of the animals ... if they were real, it looked fake, cheesy, and unrealistic .. like the stamp bird.The was probably the most realistic of animals that act and has done a good job. Lizards used in the DivX Movie Nim's Island seemed real, but the "voice" they were too cheesy and was the only thing that seems wrong ... although I have a giggle of children in the audience. Foster has done a great job of portraying a character with agoraphobia, was struck on the right. The rest of the players did very well also, Breslin has proven itself to be a known name in the future. Definitely recommend this for children.

I have read many comments about the predictability, blah, blah, blah! I found this refreshing and fun film: Nim's Island for all ages. There was something for everyone. Being a woman around the same age, which may be related to Jodie Foster because she practically grew up with! And I feel it was a great Nim's Island film to see it in a lighter than she has been doing lately. Abigail Breslin was cute as always. She definitely could have theirs, but then she always has. Gerard Butler - so I can never say enough about him. That's why it has a major DVD film Nim's Island in more ways than one. A view was great in two roles. My daughter is 15 I am on the "ghost" to "Dear Frankie" to "300" (and I usually hate war movies) and "Tomb Raider" and "PS I love you" and now this film. We went with 4 of your friends, and after that the rooms had a debate in which "Gerard" we liked more. The vote was four for the hangover-buckling Alex Rover (including myself) to two of the cleanest cutting Jack! We all agreed that we loved this movie.
