| When I saw the teaser trailer last summer, I thought, "But the first leaves no room for a sequel. You do not need." But being a big fan of the movie, I was still excited to see all the characters in another DVD film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest with the same expected plot lines and interconnection of large players. I was wrong. Sure, the actors are great, and are all originals. But it could not have been. This sequel does not even compare to the first. Imagine seeing a commercial for "Pirates of the Caribbean: The TV Series!" and mix all the episodes and Dead Man's Chest is what you have. A plot shrimpy not very prominent among the rest of the trash it goes. For those of you who have seen - I'm not even talking about the thing that probably thinks I am angry. That was one of the high points, including two action sequences. But it really feels like a group of fans sat around and said "it would be funny if .... would not it be tragic if ...", have the money to make a DVD movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and they did. Leaving fanfiction writers to write sequels to implement by adding the stupid stories dramatic plot twists that do not exist in the first. Leaving the only good movie! |
| Absolutely loved it! This sequel is much more fun, wittier and more flexible than Curse of the Black Pearl! Jack is much more in this wild and Tanzania. What is even more heroic and still is a great straight man to raise and lower the pirate Jack peculiar behavior. Liz was a little more action this time (two swords at a time). Great that all our friends to return was the following: the hilarious comedy duo Paint and Rigetti, Gibbs and the rest of the usual suspects of the crew of pirates! Of course the introduction of new characters, the legendary Davy Jones and Will's father Bootstrap Bill greater character development in this. The non-stop action for a great ride! Surprise ending Pirates III left us eagerly awaiting the month of May! |
| Worst movies I've seen in 10 years. Where to start? This is dark. Is violent. Johnny Depp is no longer acting the role of Captain Jack, which is what rounds. The plot is confusing, and often is just a convoluted way to work in another fight scene. If you're looking for humor are at the first, you'll be very disappointed. And they could decide what accent Davy Jones is supposed to have, and stick with it? Up there with Back to the Future II. My recommendation: Avoid it in droves. |
| When I went to see the Dead Man's Chest on opening night, my anticipation was quite high. I've been waiting for this Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Fantasy film for over a year, and I can not wait until the third Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest film comes out next May. Johnny Depp once again blows me away with the believability of Captian Jack Sparrow. When approached by Davy Jones, you can really believe that Depp is at his wits end with despair. When faced with the Kracker Depp, one can see that it has reached a point where you can not have more and perhaps you really want for their final demise. In the end, when the whole world is mourning the death of Captian Jack Sparrow and Barbossa enters the room with no mono-Jack on the shoulder, my jaw hit the floor in shock. I mean, do not die from a musket ball in the chest at the end of the first film? I am eager to hear the explanation that one. However, I was very pleased with this sequel when so many sequels lately are nothing more than two hours of wasted time. |
| Definitely one of the best films of the year and all time for me. The sequel to the best Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest film of 2003 (in my opinion), Dead Man's Chest is an amazing journey from start to finish. I have no complaint whatsoever. He was great. Being able to see Johnny step in the boots of Cap'n Jack again was wonderful, do you still become attractive blacksmith pirate in this movie, and Elizabeth has to fight the sword. The action was great as well. See Will, Jack and Commodore all draw their swords and start banging away at each other was great. The special effects of Davey Jones and his crew were fantastic wicked too. The story was very good. I wondered if I was going to be tension between Will, Jack and Liz. I was not disappointed! However, if you have not seen it, do! You will not be disappointed! |
| This Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Fantasy is an unbelievable roller coaster. Some amazing sword fighting. A lot more humor than the first image. Johnny Depp shines as Captain Jack Sparrow. It comes to meet Davey Jones ... and his cabinet. The two pirate bastards of the first DVD film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (one that can not keep track of your eye) to return, along with other surprise appearances. This is Raiders of the Lost Ark, 7th Voyage of Sinbad, and Laurel and Hardy in one. The launch for the next Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Fantasy is very effective ... you want to see. I have read several comments this panoramic DVD movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest ... critics are idiots. I can write some letters to the editors of their newspapers, cause these guys were totally wrong. Do not miss this Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest film on the big screen. |
| Like most of the planet, I loved the original Pirates movie. This DVD movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest however was not a worthy sequel. Plot? No one. I could put spoilers in this review, but make no difference in the plot is essentially a device to move from one scene to another CGI. It is a pity that when acting talent available, big budgets, but more importantly - the story - is completely absent. I would advise anyone with more than 2 brain cells to avoid seeing this movie, and as other reviewers have compared to "The Empire Strikes Back," I'll have something of what they are, because you must be your mind. This is at least as bad as the second Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Fantasy film of the matrix, which says it all, if I could have walked out without harming my daughter 10 years, would have done. She will have to go see POTC 3 next year without me, life is too short for this bilge. |
| I thought this Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Fantasy was phenomenal. It had action, adventure, laughter, and it is a good time. I would advise, however, must be 13 or older to view this movie. It has some very unpleasant, and scenes where you can not stop saying "eww" I thought the performance was excellent, the games were very well done, and all that is about a great movie. It was rough, but hey! that's what Pirates of the Caribbean is right? Pirates, suffering, torment, etc. I recommend this movie: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest to people who love a good laugh mixed with adventure and some scary sequences. Come to this movie, or be put in Davy Jones' locker! |
