| This is an educated and well-crafted film: Mulholland Dr. with many of the features that make David Lynch one of the best directors today. There are moments of great tension and live cinema. Lynch permeates the DivX Movie Mulholland Dr. with intelligence and thinking of ideas. It creates in the viewer a feeling of sympathy for the main character in the difficult situation, but also keeps the fabric tight and full of intrigue. You are rejected (intentionally) by some of the more obscure, but paradoxically it is very difficult to "take sides". The sugary sweet on the nature of secondary lead is left soon as we realize that she is more ambiguous. Lynch squeeze every ounce of talent of the performers who turn in credible performances and compelling. This is one, but thoroughly watchable Mulholland Dr. Thriller scholar. |
| If you want to watch someone else watch this bad dream. Otherwise, save money, stay asleep, and his own. | Mulholland Drive by David Lynch is the better film. This is high praise indeed, as Lynch has produced some of the most interesting films of the last 30 years. Mulholland Drive takes elements from his previous work and molds in a glorious package - the amateur detectives of Blue Velvet, the exchange of Lost characters of road, the feeling of fear of Twin Peaks, the string of crazy wild at heart. The atmosphere created in Mulholland Drive is remarkable. In the first and seemingly nonsensical structure reveals, in repeated viewings, which actually quite simple. There are too many to mention Lynchian time classic and the performance is excellent, including Naomi Watts, it offers an incredible range of performance. Mulholland Drive is magical and mystical, spiritual and physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, visual ... meta-sensory, extra-sensory and sensory-ultra - simply can not be categorized or dissected or understood. | And here I thought that the best film: Mulholland Dr. of the year was GHOST WORLD. Oh no, I never jump the gun! I laughed, I was scared, I laughed some more, are some really interesting sub-plots pretty scared, checked out the scene (since I live in the secular), screamed with laughter, it was absolutely horrified, shocked and completely entertaining. | please read "The Emperor's New Clothes." It's OK to admit that the movie: Mulholland Dr. was horrible. Really, it was. Lynch is cool and obviously this was not intended to be a typical Hollywood movie: Mulholland Dr. straight forward. But the damn thing was rotted cow manure and are not ashamed to agree.
