| I heard the rock would be in it and is concerned (and I'm not mistaken the rock is a good actor), but the punishment. I also thought that the story was a bit of space age, and in March instead of hell was a bad idea. The Game fans (like me) how it would be better if they were demons in hell and in the game and if you follow the game a little more. Reaper's story line and the entire crew of the game was different, but makes your mind go, How the hell could a man take on an entire group of demons from hell. Mac lets discuss this character value, the only thing cool about it is how they were killed. The Doom Action has characters that are supposed to like and hate (for example, the hatred. Portman and Dr. Carmack ex. Destructor like Reaper and Duke). Also history, at least we knew he was going to the Doom Action film are a jumble-f * ck where is history. I've seen three times (once in the theater) and thought it was good and that will not relent in seeing again. |
| Perhaps if they had pitched it as "Doom, a sort of kind of almost about the game close, but not enough" then I would not have been so disappointed. But the fact is, this is absolutely nothing like the game it is, and anyone who never played Doom 1 or 2 will be absolutely disgusted with the blatant disregard for any effort to make this Doom Action as the game. The monsters do not look vaguely like Doom monsters, but all that took 5 minutes for the Doom movie to get a perspective of a person, and the plot was delayed. It was another DVD movie Doom where the man goes too far, paid for his mistake, and then everyone dies. Who the hell cares at this point, honestly. If you were to ignore the whole premise of Doom, that could have made at least the plot unique. The only reason they do not pull a star is that there was a good action scene (Destroyer vs alien holding cell). Apart from that, it was a farce. |
| DOOM I was at a very early age. DOOM first two games were very similar in plot, and weapons, etc DOOM 3 when he left, I was astonished, and I played it nonstop. I saw the DivX film Doom right away when I saw the add, and I was very impressed. Of course, not remain faithful to the game in many ways, but it is true that the stay of many other ways. The only thing I could say I was disappointed, even a little lack of the gate to hell is opened, it was the plot in the game. The tag line for the game and the Doom Action movie was like "All Hell breaks loose." In the game, it's literal. In the film, it was just a figure of speech. | After seeing the very low score on IMDb and see that the rock was nominated for worst actor I have had the lowest expectations for the film. I played Doom3, the videogame of the Doom Action is based from, and I did not like much. So I was prepared for 100 minutes of pain. Well, the DVD film Doom just sucks me in. wonderful mess. Something I had never seen before, really. It is similar to Resident Evil (1, 2). But this is more rapid action, the most fresh and best effects or scenes. In the end I was very impressed by how much they had enjoyed. Karl Urban outstanding. Rosamund Pike seems wrong here. And the Rock ... It has become my favorite crazy head. I'm not a 14 years-old video games. In 99% of the bad films I totally agree with the IMDb voters. But Doom is not at all as low as the average says. This is a Doom Action movie that at least deserves respect for being different. And if you're willing to experience new things and are tired of all the Oscar winners, you will appreciate Doom. PS: There is a 10, more like an 8. But I want to go to their highest rating. |
| this will be a sacrilege for Fanboys, but I've never played Doom. His appeal not only to me as a game. I know all about him, but could care less to play. So I entered this Doom film without preconceived ideas of how it should be. So I left the Doom Action film feeling that I had spent only about 2 hours watching a decent SciFi horror hybrid. Great? No. It's worth seeing at least once? Yes, The Rock plays Sarge, the leader of a team of space marines sent to Mars, where a distress signal had come from a government research lab. Once there, the troops found that some scientists stranded. Found genetic mutations that are running rampant, killing everyone. Therefore, start the standard includes all the equipment for an opposite one to that Sarge and John Grimm, who have their own personal beefs itself. Despite the clichéd plot, Doom has a few things going for it. The BFG is amazing and exactly the way you expect it from the descriptions of the players. The rock was one of his best performances as Sarge and comes to show a bit of pathos in his slow descent into madness. Karl Urban as Grimm is passable, but not having much to do except be the hero and MOPE around the rest of the time. Sequence favorite Grimm ever exterminate monsters. The entire scene is shot as a first-person shooter, like the games are. Their own fun and captures the spirit of the game. So here it is: Doom does not break any precedent but manage to keep you entertained for a couple of hours. Give it a chance. |
| As a fan of ultraviolet rays and the Resident Evil series, this DVD movie Doom is very well in the middle. Although a bit more plot and less polished Ultraviolet, Doom entertains, but fails to reach equilibrium from the action or the argument to be found in Resident Evil. When you do succeed when it comes to entertaining and making reference to the game (many here), in an ironic fashion, instead of trying to raise the plot to a social commentary. Sarge (The Rock) is the leader of a unit of Marines is sent to the research center on Mars to investigate the missing scientists. Soon they realize that the research facility is becoming more of an archaeological excavation, and that scientists are not missing - they are processed. The Rock does a good job of an alpha male, marine cocky swagger. The cast comes out as a "desire that has become an actor but is B". The SFX are good, especially the highly anticipated FPS style. Unfortunately, this only lasts a few minutes of the film. If not do a sequel, Doom is to entertain, and leave the end open for more fun and punishment. |
