| In the near future, Parker Barnes (Denzel Washington) is an ex-policeman who was sent to prison for murder. The circumstances of his crime are poor and receive empathy. Now, he is offered a chance for freedom from jail. Parker must hunt down and destroy a cyborg murderer, DIM 6.7 (Russell Crowe), which is threatening the public at large after jumping from a virtual reality program. The game has many twists and turns as DIM terrorized, abducted and shot the victims in his path. SID can be stopped? It may not be a masterpiece of science fiction, but this Virtuosity Horror film is interesting and worthwhile. A second view may be necessary to really understand and appreciate the complexity of their plots. Then, too, the wonderful special effects enhance the appearance of the film. Denzel Washington is not the best time (which is enough), but Russell Crowe is positively gleeful in its image of the killing machine ultimately designed. There are some moments of humor, some of the overall decline in pitch dark and gloomy. On the down side, the end can be a little too pat and leave some loose ends untied. Recommended for science fiction and action DVD film Virtuosity fans who are looking for lesser known films that may meet for one night. |
| This was really something else. It is very bad, but damn, I got a kick out of it. Russell played his role to the hilt. My favorite scene is when the researcher comes to people and said, "Sid is evolving." Another of them asked, "What?". Cut to Sid with a cocky kind of walking down the street covered, while a pair of tones, while "Staying Alive" by the BeeGees played. Must see it to believe it. I started laughing hysterically and then right. I swear I must have known Russ pure field of quality in this era. I bet you had a great time filming. I congratulate everyone, especially Mr.Crowe, to keep a straight face doing this. I only have one real complaint about this movie. One would think that, considering all these serial murderers Sid was in his head, had a little more perverse. I mean, the majority of murderers have a deranged sadistic sexual side. I really would have liked to have seen that. But I guess you have become too serious to be added. |
| Brett Leonard, director of Virtuosity film after the triumph of "The Lawnmower Man", comes another science fiction DivX Movie Virtuosity about virtual reality. IMD 6.7 is a program means that somehow ends up in the real world. As expected, Parker Barnes is the only man who can stop him. One of those films that has a cool concept, but implementation is flucking bad. Russell Crowe is playing like crazy psycho SID 6.7 and it seems the best thing about this problem lies in how movie.The all known: the police are charged with murder, while the bad guy gets away, the Big Kahuna's, the police are idiots . | That is, when stripped of all the nifty cybernetic just another persecution of film. No doubt some things pique an interest in particular, the most attractive woman in black lace underwear the creation of a cyber game. Half is in the range of films, only which is the setting apart of Star Trek as (I think holodeck) moments when you do not know if it is real or cyberspace. |
