In February, 2001, Robert Hanssen, a senior agent with 25 years in the FBI, is arrested for spying. "Rape" is slow - slow enough to recommend waiting to rent for most people. It's a good story, but the material requires the methodical pace that he hoped viewers for cars and armed struggle. The most authentic part of the Breach Drama is its attention to detail. Shots in and look drab, dull government offices portray it. This wonderfully realistic touch was not lost on those who have worked hard in these holes, it's a pleasant Breach film that is finally a government office that looks like one, instead of a futuristic, shiny movie: Breach that has more in common with the ship company. Intentionally or not, goes beyond the drabness of the office spaces (with apologies - yeahhh - Gary Cole). Laura Linney's hair is flat and boring, and as pale as a ghost. All exterior shots are cloudy with a 70% chance of rain, like CC over the winter. The grim aspect of the Breach Drama movie increases theme, but will probably leave some viewers with a bad taste. As a retired intelligence analyst, I liked this Breach Drama film because it reminds us that there are traitors, and cause damage to our national security. Like "United 93" is not easy or pleasant to see, but the subject is thinking.

We had the opportunity to see the DivX Movie Breach and participate in a Q & A with writer / director Billy Ray. The DivX Movie Breach was so well written and portrayed the events so that in a very short amount of time it took much more than was covered by all books and newspaper accounts of the incident with Robert Hanssen. The acting was fantastic, with Chris Cooper out against another incredible performance. The Q & A with Billy Ray revealed a man who is so good at his craft and methodically and strategically and at the same time fraught with unnecessary uncertainty. This is a must see!
