| Masterpiece! This Casualties of War film is magic and makes me sad that our country is increasingly involved with vile war of nowhere, and no I am not against the troops. I believe that Johnson was an idiot and should never have sent the soldiers knew what they were doing just made what they said. At that time most people were not even on their vote, how is that sick. What makes the disease is still the way the American public treated these heroes on their return, and if they were heroes, but it is an unjust war that our soldiers are still fighting and they were for us, and should be respected as such. Michael J. Fox does a great job in this show the ingenuity of the soldiers at the time and Sean Penn does a good job of showing how a person can go bad psyche when pushed to the limit of something that I do not believe in. I do not condone what makes Sean Penn the character in the film: Casualties of War and was rightly punished, but I can see what drove him to it. Brian De Palma makes another stellar job with his visual style that will never be toped and lighting is excellent in this film. I hate it bombed at the box office because everyone should see this. Great movie. |
| This Casualties of War War was heart wrenching, thrilling and exciting at the same time! The plot of the Vietnamese girl alter, what they really hate the troops and take pity. There was also a factor in bullying the main body! Sometimes I thought the Casualties of War War was borderline sick! I just read that it was based on reality, which is quite disturbing, I thought the rape scene was too graphic for younger viewers, the Casualties of War War movie shows virtually all rape. About the DivX film Casualties of War is a well-made piece, worthy of any Casualties of War War film collection. Caution should be exercised as to whether it thinks this is easily altered or those patients may not be able to stomach this. Lewis signed Dermott, his friend of 14 years:) |
| Victims of war is a great Casualties of War film of Brian De Palma. Certainly not his best work, but it is intense and suspenseful storytelling. The cast is good. Michael J. Fox was a surprise to say the least in this film. I did not think that would be the same with Sean Penn. Fox has more than his, I think eclipse Penn. This would not be the case if Sean Penn is not so much overacting. It is all over the place with his character. De Palma remains one of the great stylists of modern cinema. |
