| Jay Anania's new film, "Day of Fire," is a disturbing story of a Palestinian journalist and a Jewish model fall accident in New York, and whose lives are inextricably, and surprisingly intertwined. The remarkable cast is led by the always excellent Martin Donovan, playing an enigmatic man, handsome, solitary and fastidious, who is on a search through the streets of the city that will bring you into contact with one of those women, somehow could never predict. Carmen Chaplin (granddaughter of Chaplin than others), offers an exquisite performance of a woman who is carrying on his shoulders a personal pain, as well as the weight of the struggle of his people as it pursues its own quest for understanding.
