| My husband and I loved this movie. Finally, a December Boys Romance movie that really care about the characters. The acting is wonderful, the story is moving and the scenery is magnificent. Not only every actor in the DVD film December Boys part of his eyes, are credible for a change. As the DivX film December Boys progresses, it's like you've been invited along for the trip to the beach with these four young orphans how to deal with the hand they are dealt. The people you meet during your vacation by the sea are what you expected. Ordinary life people with real emotions, dreams and problems. This was a daring December Boys film by Hollywood's standards. No cars, explosions, swearing, or ego-feeding in this film. Just great fun. For people out there who love good movies, go see this. It is the way movies should be. Good story, clever dialogue and a credible representation of the material. We loved it! Great Entertainment. Four thumbs up! |
| They say the best place to start is in the beginning, where the four main characters are introduced, Maps, Misty, Spit and Spark, also known as Boys in December. The opening scenes take us to the boys home, an orphanage run by nuns in Australia. Some might say it's a little excitement, so you can imagine his joy when told they are to spend the summer in Ladystar Cove. Based on the edge of a coastal city known for fairs and fireworks, the beach provides the perfect setting for an exciting trip that will always remember. The theme of love, romance, family, friendship and play a role in December Boys deal with the idea that one could be adopted by a childless couple living in the creek. However, despite the inclusion of several co-stars, the writing is focused on children who are superbly convincing. The cinematography is beautiful throughout with delightful scenic shots and close businesses that captures the wonder of childhood. I assumed the December Boys Romance was based on 60 years, but no specific time line and the outcome is too modern, and then does nothing to encapsulate the time. However, despite these defects December Boys contains many of the small joys and touching scenes, with voice made timely and good leadership, this is a December Boys movie that deserves to be seen. |
| I loved this December Boys Romance movie from beginning to end. It was a wonderful story of growing up and memories are like long distance, all seems much more magical and larger than life. Because really when we look back, the adults in our children. I thought the performance was excellent and was very well cast. Daniel Radcliffe is a very weak and far from Harry Potter shows he has the talent to continue in business as an adult. The other 3 guys are considered good, and I am sure we will see more of them in the future. While only a small cast, each has an important role and Mr and Mrs McAnsh are truly memorable. Kangaroo Island is absolutely stunning and dust from inside a crystal clear coastal splendor is a visual feast for the eyes. Do not expect a blockbuster special effects, just enjoy the journey of a beautiful story! |
| Established in the late 60s, December Boys is a beautiful, moving story of adolescence and leaving the great, wonderful Australian as a backdrop, unraveled in the same direction as Stand By Me. "What's the big deal about their parents anyway?" Maps (Daniel Radcliffe) replied to your summer adventure Lucy (Teresa Palmer). Maps is the oldest of four orphans who are sent on a beach holiday with an old couple. Misty (Lee Cormier) is the youngest and the art of breeding. Sparks (Christian Byers) is good with mechanical things, while Spit (James Fraser) is named for what it does best. Have given an idea of what the lives have been orphaned as a whole, has an idea where Maps "trend of thought is. They have survived until now without parents, and have had to call each other family growing up. This only becomes more obvious as they interact with their host family for neighbors, and they receive an emotional competition for possible adoption to test the limits of their brotherhood. Unfulfilled expectations are shared by all characters, regardless of their age and situation, and this is the main theme that the audience empathizes with. It is heartbreaking to see their faces light up with hope in the possibility of winning the lottery, only the parents is transmitted again and again. Rude awakenings and rejection are issues that most people can relate to after years of hard, but for kids you know intimately at that age is what makes the seriousness of December Boys is Tearjerker. |
